Matt and Ashley+Two--Oakdale, CA Family Portrait Photographer

My little cousin Ashley and her husband Matt brought my *leettle-est* cousins Cheyenne and Trinity for their very first family portrait a couple of weeks ago! Sweet, SWEET, little girls! Happy and friendly and a dream to work with! So funny to look at them and see their mama at that age. Seems like only yesterday I was taking her pictures when she was just a wee one! She was one of my first little models. I can't even remember how old she was when I dragged her to the "wood park" and took pictures of her peeking around and through the brand new wood play structure. Love that I'm still taking pictures for the important moments in her life!

Hipster-Oakdale, CA Senior Portrait Photographer

My son told me yesterday, while driving to a shoot, that he "guesses he's a Hipster". I guess I don't really know what a hipster is, but he credits me with this classification.
I was thinking this morning, it seems like maybe "hipster" is nice middle ground in the world of high school cliques, maybe somewhere between preppy and skater? Or maybe back in the day a skater was a hipster? I don't know. I do know that he's happy with this title, currently, and it's because he's a little like his mama, and doesn't want to really be "like" anyone else, but he is still in high school, and needs that whole belong thing. He's cute, whatever he is.
